Initial Impressions: URK 2009/2010

The bloviating will come, but for now, concision rules the day. One sentence opinions on each team’s outlook after the draft. If you can’t be bothered to read even that, I basically reveal the shocking truth that each team has potential.

Clay Davis All-Stars: Good from top to bottom, with no obvious weaknesses.

The Home Pwners: Roster filled with past-their-prime and before-their-prime players; might be great, but a lot of uncertainty.

Minions: An awful lot of middle-tier players after the QB, so will probably have good weeks and bad weeks.

The Schmuckernators: Nice looking on paper although the RB situation after Jones-Drew is precarious.

Blinder Squirrels: Nicely balanced, has the players to be a top team in the league.

BullerBezoarBonanza: An awful lot of Atlanta in the starting lineup, so could alternate between great and awful on a week to week basis.

Granite Daisies: Starting lineup – nice; bench – yikes.

Cool Runnings: Best WRs in the league, but all the RBs are part-time or backups.

Cactus!! WATCH OUT!!: Solid team, through and through.

Fat Cats: A lot of explosive players; could be special if they blow up the right way.

Cupcakes of Doom!: A lot of question marks, but could easily be an upper-tier team if things fall the right way.

Kenny Gee Willikers: Well-rounded in the middle, but being headless and footless might be their downfall.

Avatars coming soon. Anyone dare to predict an order of finish before we even play any games?

Yeah, that's right, what I just said couldn't be published. However, I don't expect to break the top 5 during the season.
