That's right, I'm the next one to entrench himself in a lifelong debt! Hooray!

I've been in the process of looking for a house for nearly a year now, and finally closed on a really nice house just last Friday! I had an offer in another house for about 3 months, it was a shortsale and was taking forever to deal with the bank and lender etc... That ended up falling through, but was good actually, because I found this newer nicer house and cheaper even!

Info about the House:

Built in 2002
Bank foreclosure spring of 2008
1365 sq ft.
Awesome fenced in back yard with huge African like trees. Dunno what kinda.
All living areas are tiled and kitchen + 1 bedroom
Kitchen and Master Bath have been remodeled
House is in Sarasota, good location 1/2 between highway and downtown.

Lots of work to be done:

Since the house was a Bank Foreclosure, the deal went through pretty fast, they accepted my offer of 145k the same day I placed it, and ended up closing about 4 weeks later. House is in great shape, however no one has lived in it for about 8 months, and the power was off in that time, so many spiders made it their new home :)
So this whole weekend was spent cleaning up, washing off counters, walls, floors, vacuuming everything, even ceilings etc.. I am worn out! Probably about 20 hours spent there this weekend cleaning with the help of some family and friends.

I'll be looking for roomates to help with the cost of the mortgage, cause atm I feel very poor :) So if anyone is looking for a move to Sunny, Warm, Beachy, Sarasota now would be the time!

I haven't taken any new photos yet, but I have some from when I first looked a the house 6 weeks ago. Is pretty much the same now, just cleaner! I will post new ones probably later week.
