Reunion = Good idea.Getting everybody together = Not going to happen.
Should we still try? = Yes.
Looking at the map of where we are all located, one thing becomes clear. We are spread across the country, but more of us are out west, and more of us are up north. Therefore, in order to facillitate ease of travel, I recommend a location that is more centrally placed than the 2 suggestions of Fresno, OH and the Rocky Mts. (as you can see, both would require significant travel for a lot of us). So here's my thought - why not my house? I'm pretty much in the center of things, and we've got woods with trails, ping-pong, air hockey, and of course a hot-tub for those aching bodies.
The other issue is the dates. I'm tied up with VS until August. Maybe the beginning/middle of August would be a good time. We could do it after those of us in VS are finished yet before grad/med school starts for those in that. Jason, we could even make it coincide with our bike trip across America. I suspect we'll all be heading our separate ways again come Sept.
Any thoughts?

Hi all, I would write a long message detailing all I've been doing lately, but you can just look at flickr.com/photos/darlaandsteve or ask me when we all get together this summer. "Get together this summer, Steve, I didn't know we were getting together this summer..?" Well my friend! We most certainly are! Or at least some of us had considered the idea. Given that I am Supreme Dictator, I thought I would head up discussion of what, when, where, and who, this would involve with an initial (and personally beneficial) idea.
Many of us last year had the pleasure of spending a weekend+ at Chris's home, camping, paint balling, and the like. I personally thought this was great fun and Ohio is a relatively achievable local for most. I would suggest we spend a couple days in June (hopefully between the 17th and 27th as I am on that side of the country at that time) preforming the above tasks at Chris's house. I have not asked Chris about this, I am simply imposing myself and however many other persons upon his small homestead. I figure as dictator I can get by quoting him some law about requirement to quarter troops...
Anyhow if anyone is interested, has ideas, complaints, or death threats please respond promptly (preferably with ideas+one of the other options). Thanks and God Bless Kenwood

I second the idea of a reunion. It would be great to get together to camp and shoot each other this summer. However, the host has a problem. I will be in La Jara, CO until September and have no way of getting back east - I don't have the money or the means. You could probably still camp and stuff at my family's farm, but I most likely couldn't come.
Alternatively, we could all meet in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado this summer. You guys could stay at the VS house in La Jara (as I fulfill my troop quartering responsibilities), and we could hike, camp, fish, and go paintballing in the mountains. Think about it: high altitude paintball in the Rockies. Believe me, there are lots of great hiding spots among the cliffs at 12,500 feet. Anyway, consider it - there are a lot of cool outdoor things to do here.
