Mmm, tender beans and bullion cubes!

Golly, it's nearing the 5am mark, and I feel that I somehow wronged myself when I went to bed before midnight last night, so I'm making up for it now. Steve will be getting up soon, and I'll be sleeping blissfully until just before he gets finished with work. Likely he'll read this while he's at work and will probably call my house just to wake me up. Steve's such a nut, like a macadamia (mm, macadamia and organic chocolate helados bon!)

Also, I realized I had my own blog today, I guess I created it last march sometime... Well, my first post consisted of the following text: "A post..." Exciting. To add to that excitement I've added a second post and modified the first. Then I tried formatting it so the dates were in arabic, but then I remembered that's one of the few languages I'm not fluent in... yet. Also at this point the excitement nearly killed me, so I changed it back to English.

Lastly, to add to the excitement on our blog, I changed the color of the blogbar (the thing at the top, they have some other name, but I liked blobar better) . Well, anyways the blubber (hah, you thought it was a typo, when it was really just a part of my diabolical scheme to use the word blubber in my post; as Bart Simpson would say, "Eat my shorts!") is now 'silver'. Don't try to sell it though, as apparently silver is just the name of the color scheme, and banks won't accept it as monetary value. I should know, I once changed my windows scheme to be all various shades of 'gold' and then tried to sell it for its weight in gold. Apparently digital gold (as I called it) doesn't count. Why don't people tell you these things? Wasn't college supposed to prepare me for the world or something?

Ok, I lied, not lastly. Also, in order that our blog be exciting enough to kill anyone with a weak heart, I have added a link named "Hot SEX" to the links area, in large fonts. This is not your grandparents blog folks.

Sadly, all of this excitement has left me weak, I can barely type this out, it's nearly time for me to retreat to my sarcophagus.

Hmm, I just realized I posted a long post without actually saying anything. College has at least taught me how to fill space on a page!

Every once in a while I wonder why I stay up so late. My brother's open house was last Saturday, and I read a family letter from when I was 5 (Michael was 1). The part about me had something like this "Jaron will stay up and get up as late as we let him" Hmm, if I was doing this when I was five, what hope is there? It's clearly simply natural for me.

Sarcophagus here I come! Err, I mean bed? (My mom and I are watching a couple Stargates a night, and it's a lot more fun watching them with someone who hasn't seen all of them, especially if they can appreciate Richard Dean Anderson's sense of humor) But whatever, to bed with me. Hopefully my not-so-subtle reference to a quality kick-off skit was not missed by everyone.

jaron -- i assume that you will notice this eventually -- i had a question regarding the posts on our blog that didn't seem worthy of thread-level discussion:
what happens to all of our old posts?
a lot of them are golden but they appear to drop off the end of the page only to be lost forever in a ghostly cybervoid of nothingness. is there nothing we can do?
