Coming to you live at 49333 bps!

I got my motorcycle back yesterday from North End Cycle. Apparently the pilot jets of the carburetor were almost completely clogged. Go figure. I rode the bike back from Elkhart even though it was raining a bit. When it has just rained a little the oil that builds up in the middle of the road from normal traffic just spreads across the pavement so it is about is as slick as it gets -- other than when it is covered with ice but what are you doing riding a motorcycle on ice? nutcase. So I was heading South on CR 17, going a little faster than I should have been -- in part because I didn't have a speedometer at the time... -- so I fishtailed a couple of times at one stoplight. I slowed down quite a bit after that. It ran quit a bit better but it still wasn't quite running right. When I got back home I realized that they had routed the choke cable completely wrong when they reinstalled the carburetor. They hadn't tuned the mixture screws either. slackers.

Work is fine. I keep busy. Most of the junk I'm finished with I post at goshen.edu/~danbh/work so that my supervisors can keep tabs on my progress. I think I'm finally getting the hand of DFDs and ERDs. Databases are fun for Everybody!!

Turns out that I'll be working for phys plant this summer too -- thanks for the referral Steve. I get to work my own hours and I start on Monday. Two jobs are better than one -- I think.
