From The Week magazine

A certain town in Austria
Street signs stolen: The tiny village of F---ing, Austria (rhymes with ducking), has lost all six of its city-limits signs to British tourists, Vienna’s Kurier reported this week. The tourists apparently find the name of the town humorous, but town officials aren’t laughing. “It costs 260 euros to replace one of them,” an angry councilman told the paper. “We tried sinking the signposts in concrete,” said another, “but then they came with hacksaws.” Officials are debating whether they should return to the town’s ancient name, Vucckingen.
