I am the bat man!

Meaning that I catch bats I guess.

For those of you who don't know, we've had a bat visiting our house repeatedly over the past week. We think it's coming in through the basement somewhere.

The first night I remember waking at 2:30ish to Daron's scream (seriously, scream). A minute later he knocks on my door and tells me there's a bat in the house. I walk into the kitchen and see Daron holding a cutting board while warily looking around.

The short of it is that every time the bat would fly by Daron would scream and duck. Despite my laughing, I eventually caught the bat in a box and let it go outside (it's very hard to catch a flying bat)

The bat has visited us 3 times since then (Daron was only there once), and the photos are of the most recent visit (last night). I'm wearing Andy's nazgul gloves since I didn't feel like getting bit while holding it. I had picked it up with my bare hands the previous time, but didn't feel like taking chances for an extended photo shoot.

Well, hopefully we'll find where it's coming in and be able to close it off.
